The pre Inca civilization of Caral, considered the oldest ancient civilization of America, is located in the Supe valley close to the town of Caral, north of Lima.

Caral is comprised of 32 architectural sets with different sizes and functions. Up date, six buildings pyramid and a series of medium and small buildings, including temples, residential areas, public squares, amphitheater, shops, shrines, and streets have been identified.
