In Chiclayo, located also north of Lima, the Lord of Sipan will be your millenary host. The Royal Tomb El Señor de Sipan (Lord of Sipan), a Mochica legacy, is considered the most important archeological discovery of recent times thanks to the effort of the archeologist Walter Alva. This is mainly due to the main tomb of the Lord of Sipan that was found intact and undisturbed by thieves. Tombs were found in Sipan's Huaca Rajada, an area near Chiclayo. Many huacas were found showing Mochica jewelry, masks, and art.
